Newsletter for January 2012

January 20, 2012

Gardens for Humanity ended 2011 with gratitude to our donors, volunteers and collaborating organizations that are working with us to bring about necessary changes for a more sustainable and healthy world. We have found that an increasing number of people are working on an essential part of the big picture to make the world we envision and hope for a reality.

To see the foundation upon which we are building for the coming year take a look at our 2011 Annual Report by clicking here.

Many of the projects that we began in 2011 will continue to grow and expand. To bring our goals to fruition we have created created a number of action teams. We invite you to choose a team for which you have a passion and become a part of it, either in a leadership or volunteer capacity. These teams will contribute much to our community in the coming year.

2012 Action Teams:

  • Spring Planting Festival
  • School Gardens
  • Youth Green Team
  • Community Gardens
  • Public Gardens
  • Art and Environmental Education
  • Events
  • Demonstration Gardens
  • Fundraising
  • Volunteer Coordinator
To express your interest in becoming involved in our projects, or to find out more, either email me or fill out a Volunteer Information Form.

We look forward to a year filled with new hope and abundance,

Richard Sidy, President
Gardens for Humanity
